Kitten season is right around the corner, and we are preparing for one of our busiest (and most expensive) times of the year at the humane society.

This spring alone, we expect to care for 150–200 cats and kittens. That means hundreds of vaccines, countless tests, spay and neuter surgeries, mountains of litter, bags upon bags of food, cleaning supplies, and hours of hands-on care. With rising medical and supply costs, it adds up quickly — but these babies deserve the very best start in life.
